My ice racing buddy just bought a hulk of an Isetta to build into a race car
for the Grassroots Motorsports $2003 Challenge. He found a guy in PA with a
whole field full of them in various stages of dissolving. I can find out
more details if you are within hauling distance of God's Country.

Subject: looking for micro-car
Does anyone on the list have a lead on either a BMW Isetta or a Subaru 360?
I'm looking for something that needs lots of work (at least one full
winter's worth)and can serve as a rainy weather car and still fit in a
garage with a Morris and Bugeye. I'll consider any other micro-cars, but
these are the only two I know about that seem to be somewhat available.
Filth, some rust and frozen motors a plus as it keeps the initial price down
and adds to the challenge.
