Bugeye owners - A couple of listers need help to clear up some confusion
regarding the distributor vacuum pipe from the carburetor. Are the "flame
trap" and "expansion chamber" the same thing? Also, did the Bugeyes start
out with a straight pipe (no expansion chamber/flame trap) and then receive
one at engine 32663 as stated in the concours guidelines and shown in the
Service Parts List (AKD829)? Or did they start out with a flame trap
(/expansion chamber) and have it removed at engine 32663 as stated in
Horler? Pictures in Horler seem to show it both ways. Thanks.
