Lorenzo Bandini never used a tach or a torque wrench.  He used to say "You

well, John...

Looks like www.nisonger.com could probably help you out with this in any
case, especially if you can tell them where
in the range your tach is off and by approx. what amount.

Of course the important thing is you knowing where the engine really is,
rpm-wise, towards the top.

Maybe it was always this way (to one
extent or another?) before the PerTronix
was ever installed?
