Ok, this oil pressure item goes round and round at different times, so I
decided to look again at my Haynes Manual and then at my Bentley 1275 shop
manual and finally from Chiltons -

To quote from Bentley:
For the 12CC, 12CE &12V Lubrication System - Running 40 to 70 psi, Idling 20
psi, Relief Valve Setting 50 psi
For the 10CC - Information Not Included.
For the 9CG - Oil Pressure Normal Running - 30 to 60 psi, Idling 10 to 25
psig, Relief Valve Setting 60 psi

To quote from Haynes:
For the 948, 1098, & 1275
Lubrication System - Normal 30 to 60 psi, Idling (minimum) 10 to 25 psi,
Relief Valve Setting 60 psi

And last on the list From Chiltons MG Repair 61 to 79
9CG - 30-60
10CG - 30-60
12 - ALL 40-70
1500 - 40-60

Use the info you desire.
