Brad

The tach/fuel gauges are hooked in with the brake light/signals too.
So look for a short on any of the green wires.
Brake lights
turn signals
or something touching behind the gauges.

The white wire feeds the fuse block when the key is on.
it is NOT fused until it turns green on the other side of the fuse block.
