It's a possibility. This car has been completely dissassembled and then
reassembled. First time we had it all wired up we had installed the
solenoid backwards, so I'll have to check to see how things are supposed
to hook up. Do you remember which wire, offhand?

I had a weird problem like that, turned out that I had one wire in the
bunch 
that connects to the starter relay (by the battery & heater) in the
wrong 
spot. Moved the wire and all of the signals, flashers, etc started
working 
correctly. It took several days to figure out, of course I had the whole
harness all out. If you havenot done anything to the systems that may
not 
be the issue.
