Safety glasses are a big issue with me. Seen enough results of non use to
make me a real believer. So, the other day I'm wire brushing something with
my grinder/wire brush motor and I feel something on my chin, brushed it off
with my hand and continued with the work in hand. When finished, I brushed
my chin again and felt something there. Couldn't pull it off as it hurt too
much! Went to look in the mirror and there's a twisted wire with a 90
degree bend imbedded in my chin sticking out about 3/4"! That's one tough
whisker! Turned it a bit
and it pulled out OK. Shudder to think of something like that in an eye, so
wear your safety glasses all the time where there's a hazard for your face
and eyes.
