Ain't it great that we don't have to make all of our Spridgets match each
other? Personally, I like my SU carbs. Do I believe that they are giving me
everything possible? Heck no. Do I understand them enough to be comfortable
with them? Sure! Do I think every other Spridget has to run two HS2 SU
carbs? Not at all. Am I looking forward to the day when people look down
their noses at me because I have a Pertronix in my dizzy, an electric
radiator fan, Datsun 210 5-speed, non-Lucas alternator, etc? Nope. Do I
care? Not really. This is my car and will never be sold to some purist (or
anybody else as far as I am concerned). It is MY toy and you can't play with
it, so there! ;-)
