I might scuff with scotchgard pads after the base thoroughly dries before shooting the clear? The metalic element in a silver should be minor enough to allow for this. This is what I typically do on a MC paint job when I have allowed the base coat to sit past 12 hours. Makem sense to the readers? Kirk with his first Bugeye. . '59 with orig 64k miles. |
