Maybe we are assuming that the oil cooler was from a car that had an engine
failure. I would not reuse an oil cooler from an engine that grenaded. But
if I had an oil cooler from a known running engine that was being
"freshend", or "enhanced" and there was no mystery scoring to bearings,
cylinder walls, etc, then I say reuse the cooler.
Similar subject, does anybody flush their cooler when doing regular oil
changes, or do you let the pint or so of old oil mix with your nice new
stuff?
