You are in complete agreement with a friend who in the late 50's and 
early 60's campaigned in a Lotus XI previously raced by Sterling Moss.  
Oh, he liked racing the Lotus, but Phillip absolutely LOVED racing 
either Frogeyes or Minis.  He felt that racing a "slow" car and getting 
maximum speed and performance was the true test of driving skill.  
Besides, he said, there was a greater sensation of high speed in the 
little cars, and therefore, a bigger adrenaline kick!
