Just realized I misspoke!!  I said there were lots of roundabouts on
the M-40 northwest of London. I meant the "A-40"!!   There was no M-40
back then!!  The A-40 runs through Beaconsfield where one of the
London area MG Clubs meets and not far from the "Royal Standard of
England" - a 5 star, must see pub that used to have its very own
special ale. A pint of that stuff would see to it that you sit in your
car for a couple of hours before you could find where to insert the
ignition key!
