I think you can get a small cast iron stove at Fleet Farm for maybe $150?

If you choose something too large for your space, you spend far too much
time managing your heat source rather than working on your projects in your
shop.

A "too Large" stove ends up being throttled back constantly. This produces a
lot of smoke... a LOT of smoke. Not sure how far away your neighbors are,
but it might be an issue.

Also, it increases the creosote buildup in your chimney, which also
increases the chance of a chimney fire.(You do NOT want a chimney fire.)

If you install the second barrel, it will increase the efficiency of the
stove and allow you to throttle it back more and not have to fill it as
often.
