On my Sprite I would turn the mixture nut up two turns at altitude and all
was good. Last day of vacation, headed "downhill", two turns richer and all
was back to normal. With the Megasquirt fuel injuection, the built in MAP
sensor adjusts the mixture based on ambient pressure and no need to even
think about it. For LotO, I crossed the Rockies and Sierra crests twice
each with no loss of power and no re-tuning. Carbs are simple and
dependable, but some of this modern stuff is pretty cool too.
