Best to not try and emulate the Germans. Oil pressure might get to
100PSI. Hydraulic pressure might get much higher. It could work, but
small cylinder plus long stroke equals high pressure. The Germans
might use larger, lower pressure setups. Either way, better safe than
sorry. Use metal connectors and proper lines for clutch and brake
cylinders. IIRC Jeeps have a plastic MC and plastic hose to the slave
cylinder on some of their vehicles.
