And don't forget, each state has different laws.  Look into the laws in
your state or check with a lawyer before doing any legal documents.

A power of attorney is a good thing to have, but make sure you don't
appoint a drug addict.  No...not experience in my family, but a close
friend had her daughter/PoA steal $230K (in less than a year!) from her IRA
while she was in a hospital bed.
