-Isn't it true "MG" engines were imported into the U.S. & put into the
NASH METROPOLITAN's? I think "we" got a better deal on the TIGER.
-The list of OPE's into different cars probabaly goes on...and
on...and on....

Buick couldn't move these cars and GM killed them off because gas was
cheap and no one cared. They palmed it off on the Brits who still keep
using it it such machines as a Morgan. I was at the Morgan Plant
(Works) a few years ago, at Malvern-Link on the Thames, and asked a
white coated employee about a factory tour. He replied that he was
terribly sorry, don't-you-know, but they didn't have factory ours.
heart sank in my chest until he replied "why don't you just wander
around the place and look wherever you like. If you have any questions,
just ask the workman, and he'll be delighted to answer you". Can you
believe it? What a great time. I self-directed mysel thru the entire
place and whatched them stuff that fuel injected 215 cid into the good
old "no suspension please, were British" chasssis and hand hammer the
sheet metal around the ash body and nail it down.
With that sweet memory and my yard of Connely hide I got as a gift, and
smell when I am low, I am going to leave you with just one observation.
If this thread and competition on OPE's (Other Peoples Engines) goes on,
we will begin to wonder why the participants would want a Tiger. If it
was good enough for my Dad, muy son would say, it's good enough for me,
or I wouldn't have bought it in the first place.
