     I have two spray cans of Mar-Hyde Fabric Color (Tatsol Corp, 
Cincinnati), that claims to be just what you want.  I found it at a local 
discount auto parts place.  My black rugs are turning brownish where the sun 
hits them.  These were questionable quality replacement rugs that I bought from 
a certain East Coast pirate many years back (NOT Tom, this guy's business is 
long gone).  I hope to give it a try this winter.

        Anyone out there have recommendations for products for the following:

        .
        * Carpet dye ( black ) for a carpet that is in perfect shape other
than certain areas that are faded...
