Hi:
In Alberta we can buy "Vintage" plates for over 25 year old collector
cars at a one time registration cost. I was issued # 6-221 for my
TIGER. It is a '65 (2+2+1=5) and its serial # is B3832000221. Just
luck of the draw but a cheap "vanity" plate.
I read, the other day, that a "Tourist" returning to Europe was
found, by Canadian Customs, to have a suitcase full of stolen
"vanity" plates. Best to attach them with bolts and then a drop of
solder on the threads. Makes them hard to get off without heat.
Godspeed
Jc
P.S. Yes Norman I know that my car is not in the register. I shall
shall do that as soon as I remenber to bring the JAL # to work.
