Let me point out that with a slightly wider rim, a narrow tire at MUCH higher
than normal pressure would not scallop or show any abnormal tire wear (until
it made a loud noise.....)
I do not claim to be a tire engineer, but since we have Bridgestone here in
Nashville, I will try to contact them, and see what they think about running
30% more than max tire pressure.
I'll let you know what they laugh and say.
