The best way to effect a repair for this type of damage is to apply
butter and toast to the afflicted area. The natural affinity of these
products will assure mutual attraction of the strongest sort. Do not use
margarine, or any other butter substitutes, and the bread should be fresh
Wonder Bread, accept no substitutes. The exact surface area of toast and
amount of butter applied to this peanut butter removal are very critical.
A fourth order quadratic expression is available, with only 3
experimentally derived constants, that will allow you to estimate the
appropriate ratios. If they are out of balance, or the moon is in the
wrong phase, the peanut butter will attract to buttered toast to it. Now
you'll have peanut butter and toast and butter in the tach.

Never said it was easy.

Another alternative is the "lost wax" method. Fill the tach with low
melting point leg wax (see appropriate source) which will displace the
butter entirely. I will follow up on how to remove leg wax from tachs in
a later discourse.

BTW: Your suggestion of biting the peanut butter (see below) is one I had
not considered. Upon reflection, I believe that licking it out is the
preferable oral method, as your teeth may leave permanent damage to the
more delicate parts.
