Geting back to Steve's answer some time ago on carburetors, from memory it
seemed to point in favour of the Edelbrock 500 cfm carb as being a nice
match for the engine.

Can anyone advise if the original air cleaner will go on top of this carb,
and what manifold is a good match (Edelbrock Performer?), and will it fit
under the engine lid (bonnet) without modifications?
