Great idea, Scott. I would recommend a "powder" over filings, and would use
something like Saran wrap on the paint side to keep the iron away from the paint
surface. Can't use a "puny" magnet though. Try a discarded Big Speaker magnet.
You might want to put a big handle on it, so you can get it off the inside
without a come-a-long. Another thin sheet of conforming aluminum, between the
magnet and the inner steel might allow a prying action to "break" the hold.
