Uh, I think we are thinking alike on this one. The "U" shaped piece
to send all the air directly from the valence opening back to the
radiator and the horn hole block offs means ALL the air coming
into the front of the car goes through the radiator.
I am talking going from the valence opening (bottom of opening)
not from the bottom of the valence. I think I figured it would
take three separate pieces (two vertical mounted to the frame
horns and one horizontal) to actually get it in there.
This seems better and easier than Tom Hall's rubber
bladder from radiator bottom to the top of the crossmember.
It should stop the "recirculating" hot air problem.
The AREA of the valence plus the area of the grill opening
sure looks as big as any "modern" car opening area.
I don't buy the "hot air can't get out of the engine compartment"
theory... my 928 Porsche had alot less places for the hot
air to get out but didn't have overheating problems.

I actually made some cardboard templates and bought a
piece of sheet metal but ran out of time to complete it...
maybe soon!

Modified and more functional but without looking
obvious is my goal.
