If my memory serves me right (and it probably doesn't), back in the '70's
Volvo sent a model to the US with too small a radiator. Seems it took
awhile to convince european automakers just how hot it gets in many parts
of the States. Ultimately, they increased the size of the radiator, but
for the first models with the small radiator, they supplied a special
coolant. Does anybody else remember this, or have I killed too many brain
cells? If this story is real, does anybody know the name of the coolant?
Is it still available? Any reason we can't use it in our Tigers?
BTW, thanks to the many of you who pointed out that I am missing a whole
lot of grommets. I ordered the entire set from Sunbeam Specialties today.
