Oops I forgot the cardinal rule about your hydraulic system.

NEVER EVER, EVER, EVER use any American brake fluid
in your system. Use on Castrol GT LMA fluid only. The
American fluid will destrot every rubber seal in your system.
If you top up on the road with anything but Catsrol, order
rebuild kits for everything (Master cylinder, wheel cylinders,
calipers, and booster),

Use only fresh fluid as the Castrol will absorb water, even in
an open can. Never reuse the fluid. Carry an unopened can
in case you need to top up and then toss the can and replace
it with another new can.

Silicone fluid is the only other option. That is what museum and
other collectors use. It will not absorb water and will not attack
the English rubber seal. But I have heard that it gives a soft
peddle when heated up. Anyway that is what I am using.
Only because the silicone does remove paint. That important
to dirty fingered guys like me.
