Another chicken joke.

Actually, I liked it a lot.

This may sound like a strange tale, but I can verify that
some of it is true.

The Air Force, in W.W.II (way before there was a NASA),
developed the "chicken gun" to test the canopies of fighter
aircraft that could run into a flock of birds at high speed.

 I actually saw the production equipment at North American
Aviation in the early 50's.  It was still in use for
development tests.  Don't know what they did with the "used"
chickens, but chicken salad was always on the menu at the
cafeteria. {9->
