Window Regulation

The window regulator gear  in my Tiger is shot.  Anyone have any suggestions 
for removing the screw that pins it to the frame and side rivet.  The gear is 
pinned  and the destructive removal looks like the only option.  I have an 
extra window mechanism from an Alpine, but getting it apart faces a similar 
problem. Does the Sunbeam Speciality gear repair kit include new pins?
