Tiger Owner Cliff Morgan relates his incident of getting a car started by
putting
a charcoal fire under the pan. It worked, and showed a great deal of courage
and
faith on Cliff's part.

I thought the Tiger owners would get a kick out of a most prestigious car
Manufacturer's recommended starting technique, even in moderate weather:

1) Drain all the oil from the sump into a cast iron pot.
2) Put the pot in the fireplace, over a low to medium log fire.
3) The castor oil is the manufacturer's recommended engine oil.
4) When the oil is about 90 C, remove from fireplace and put into engine.
5) The car should now start easily.

Is this true?
 Yes.

What car was this?
Bugattti!

>From Cliff's experience, maybe things haven't changed much, except now we use
Castrol (which, by the way, WAS originally castor oil. Marvelous smell at the
track.
