Some time ago, there was a thread on this list regarding delamination in
windshields. As I remember, those people who had delamination in their
windshields, had purchased the windshields from a company NOT on the West
Coast. At that time, my thoughts were that there was a bad batch that the
NON West Coast company had secured.

Hi Listers,

Wonder if anyone has had this happen to them before?

I have a laminated windscreen that I picked up some time back in a trade.
It's new still in the box. Got it out yesterday to install it it and noticed
some odd looking starbursts in the upper corners. Kind of looks like those
sun faces you see all over the southwest hanging on peoples homes. I'd say
the lamination came apart, has air between the the screens. Has anyone ever
had this happen before, and what do I do to fix it? Thought about just
buying a new screen. Who has the better windscreens?

After sleeping on it, I realize now that I could put the screen in the
front yard where the news people can put it on TV as a MIRACLE. I could ask
for donations to help the cause.

Thanks for all the input on the Rubber cleaning. Suggestions have helped
make things much easier.
