Ah-hemgh,

Uh, Steve, you may have MY message confused with Jim's.

I mentioned the ohm readout from the sending unit.  Jim mentioned the
solid-state voltage regulators....which I must admit are a GREAT idea, I
just need to break out the soldering iron and go to the electronics surplus
store.  Just have not had the time.

If I am not mistaken, the information I mentioned in my previous email can
be found on Mark Olsen's website, but I cannot verify this as it seems to be

Hope this helps...wish I could verify the location first though!

Actually, Allan,

It was both Theo Smit and Cullen Bennett that independently designed
solid state instrument voltage regulators.  The web site, that has the
