Dave,  have read the article multiple times, it is most excellent!  My
carpet is from Martha.  After reading your post I went and stared at it some
more and....  sure helps if you put the pieces on right side up!  Never
mind...

Sure is a lot of excess material sticking up above the sill area, lots of
cutting to do.
