Thanks for the info -- I could see where that might happen if the entire
system were flexible.  I'm thinking rigid SS tubing throughout the frame
with the Aeroquip (or Swagelok) at the wheels only.

       I recently heard of a race car that had Aeroquip "tubing" (the
braided
lines) installed throughout the entire car in place of rigid tubing.  All
had
to be replaced because there was too much flex (inflation) of the lines when
the brakes were applied.  A total waste of money.
