Greg responded to Chris on this but as he is not on the list I thought I'd
forward it.

        Hi Chris,

Sorry it took so long to respond, kinda forgot. Anyway the fan made
a huge difference, either that or my cooling issues were right on the brink
and the fan made the difference. Either way it's a great investment and
well worth the time. My heating problems have been a non issue since
installing the Derale, I haven't had the misfortune of being stuck in
extended stop and go traffic but I have let the car run on a hot day in the
driveway after a relatively long drive with no problems above 190 degrees.
I had issues as Frank mentioned with hitting the radiator hose and also the
rack. I had to fit and trim several times until it cleared (difficult to
account for the flex of the fan), in the end I probably cut about 1/4" off
each blade. My car also isn't standard (Alpine body) and may be slightly
different in engine height compared to a standard tiger, there are
fabricated motor mounts but everything else is from a Tiger so you may or
may not have rack clearance problems.

        Regards,
        Greg
