i just did that last night, it was  very easy for me. I was replacing my MC. 
And i had the same problem as you are  having. What i did was i took the line 
off the Slave first, then i took out the  MC and the line just comes strait 
out with the MC, and then its real easy to get  off. Also give it a healthy 
dose 
of WD 40 or rust eater of some kind. Im sure  you can get it.
