Officially the engine in the Tiger is a 1964 Fairlane Special Duty
260. Many of the parts for a Mustang or Fairlane 260 are direct
replacements, some parts are specific to Tiger.

If you have difficulty finding a replacement part you can always ask here on
the list, another great source is the Rootes parts list with Ford part
numbers found online at Tigerunited. Starting with the Ford part number
will usually get you to a replacement part.

Another Tiger-beginners question... this weekend I want to go through the
new arrival (66 Mark 1a) and replace all the engine consumables, ie, plugs,
plug wires, belts, a few hoses, filters... the question is, are all of these
parts essentially found at any auto parts store looking under the parts
numbers for a 65 ford mustang with a 260? Thanks, Peter.
