I had a Modine custom core built by the neighborhood radiator shop. It
never overheats. They simply took my tiger radiator and replaced the core
with the Modine technology. It looks like a stock radiator, and the fan
shroud fits without modification.

After 7 years with this installation I have never overheated in 110
degree air temp, climbing a hill, in slow traffic. And only in extreme
conditions need I use the fan to rapidly bring the temp down. You may
have some trouble, nowadays, locating the Modine custom core, but the
measurements should allow one to find an equivalent custom core.
