"In the August issue of Hemmings is an ad for the Doane Spencer Tiger. Kirk White of Florida is selling the car for $130,000." The white car in Hemmings is not "the" Doane Spencer Tiger. Dale just restored the real one, the Hollywood Sports Cars #55. I think that the white car in Hemmings is a late copy that Spencer did or had an influence in before his death. $130,000.00..... thats a lot of money. MS |
