Here's a tip, Once you get the right valve cover off, hammer the sheet metal up that hangs over the valve cover for more clearance. If you are aggressive you can gain about 1/2 inch which helps a lot. You can touch up any paint you damage and it won't show an since it is hidden by the valve cover. Another bit of information, if you have a 302 with the larger stamped rockers, it's much harder to get the right cover off so plan on removing the right engine mount. John Logan |
