yes, well my assumption on that count is that the radiator has excess
capacity and its under the control of the thermostat. (given that it
easily maintains what ever the thermostat temp is no matter the
ambient temp.). if this is true and the oil cooler is running through
a thermostat too, i can't really see any down side. perhaps no upside
either though...
as far as running at the limit - lets just say the rev counter
frequently runs out of room too early.
