My recent post tell of my experience with speedo's (Tiger Speedo
Cable). The hairspring on the needle, internal to the speedo, is
adjustable by speedo repair shops that will handle British Gauges, and
is just a tensioning adjustment of the spiral hair spring, much like a
wristwatch (non-quartz). Linearity not adjustable, so pick the speed
that you want accurate measurement, and the rest fall where they fall.
It's the odometer that is tricky.
