Since we're on the subject of hardware, any source for hinge pins for the
softtop latches and the trunk hinges? These were disassembled for chroming
and my pins are a bit (a lot) mangled ...

Steve R.,

I don't know where you got that $1,000 price - but:

The "Tiger Bolt List" is 5 pages of detailed information compiled by
Kirt Jenssen.

http://www.tigersunited.com/techtips/KJensenBolts/rt-KJensenBolts1.asp

It is 5 pages long, and is noted (last page) that complete kits are
available at: (Prices at April, 2002)

http://www.msc-stainless-fasteners.com/

  1-724-698-7578, New Castle, PA

For $144.77 packeged kit.
(Prices at April, 2002)

and:

http://www.totallystainless.com/totally.html

   1-800-767-4781

for $79.90 (ask for "Doc")
(Prices at April, 2002) - ALSO in PA!

As for alternate sources of individual fasteners, I had great luck for many
at local boat stores, and some "War Surplus" stores (if they still exist)

When in doubt, "SEARCH" at:
