It's a good website but my son and I were watching the original "Love Bug"
movie last night, lo and behold there was a racing Series 1 or 2 Alpine in a
couple scenes.
I just checked and IMCDB has it listed as a Tiger. Those slanted fins, round
gas cap located lower in the rear quarter give it away as he is passing
Herbie.
It is fun to visit that website.
