I actually was fortunate enough to TAC an early Tiger two weeks ago that
had a T 10 transmission with the mushroom gear shift knob. A couple of the
guys there said that there is a guy reproducing the knob now.
I have photos of the car if you are interested.

$100. I sent a question doubting this shift knob was on Tigers and his reply

B9470057 and forward the short handle was use and and the knob was changed."
Norm or anyone who owns/owned one of the first 56 Tigers able to shed any
light on this statement?
