This is very close to the oil pressure I am reading on my gauge. Scary 
situation. That is an interesting story about your friend's hi-mileage V6.

But I also replaced my oil pump and the oil pressure is identical with my 
old pump. I suspect whatever my situation turns out to be, yours will be the 
same.
