Ebay and paypal, when sending you email/correspondence, will use your
real name to address you (that is the one you used when you set up your
account in their secure system). If you are receiving email without
being addressed by your real name, it is a scam...
But, also, regards the bank transfer number, yeah, if you want instant
purchasing with pay pal, you have to do it. Other wise you must use a
credit card and that is even scarier. I was reluctant many moons ago,
but have had good service from paypal. You also need to give them a
credit card as well. The credit card is back up to the bank account fro
which they transfer money to pay for what ever you bought. If the card
expires, then they use a eCheck system to get funds and that can take up
to a week or two to clear. So far, I am happy with the experience. I am
a 100% positive feed back guy also (big whoop, lol).
