There is a small dial on the side of the counter undre the hood. This is
where the speedo cable goes into. This dial has to be turned to reset the EGR
counter and make the light go off. The dial has two small holes in it. A
special key is required for this job. Hovever a snap ring plier may fit the
holes and enable you to turn the dial.
I purchased a manual a numbe of years ago, I think from the Roadster Factory
called
"Your key to performance, do-it-yourself emission manual" for TR7 & TR6. It
covers the pollution control devices on the 76 TR. This key came with the
book, it is glued on the inside of the front cover. BL part number is BLM
301030.

This has probably been covered many times but how do I reset the EGR counter
on my 76 TR6 so that the light will go off?

Thanks,
Ken
