Ignition Bumper

Guys,

I was wanting to put my ignition bumper back in my car but have lost the
bracket that holds it to the ignition.  Anyone have an idea on how I can
attach it so it will hold well and stay in place? I thought I might be able
to find an u shaped bracket at a hardware store and drill a couple of holes
for the bolts.  Any other suggestions?
