Hi List,
Since hearing the infamous "clunk" from the right rear of my '76, I am
anticipating that the diff mount bracket(s) is (are) cracked and I am getting
ready get it fixwd. Since I don't do any welding, I must take it somewhere or
do it through one of our club "tech sessions". Someone told me that the mount
brackets are made of aluminum. This would steer me toward an outside,
commercial source for the fix since I don't believe anyone in our club does
TIG welding.
Can someone tell me (for sure) what the diff mount brackets are made of?
