Friends
I recently joined 6Pack and am a former ST employee in the UK. I well
recall the TR250, having sold a large number of them to US civilian and
Forces personnel. It's a long time ago now but my memory seems to be holding
up fairly well on the questions raised below:

As the 250 and 5 were only in production for a little over a year, there
were few if any meaningful changes

If this refers to the body underside between front and rear wheels, we call
them sills in the UK. If we're talking of the same thing, they were black.

Rough. It was coated with black underseal

Wheels were optional wires - either chrome or silver painted with hexagonal
(not eared) centre-locks. Disc wheels were fitted with appalling rostyle
covers that rattled to distraction tat conntinued into the first year of the
TR6. I'm 98% certain the disc wheels were painted a semi-gloss brownish
black. Cars shipped out of the factory direct to the docks had no trims
fitted. These were in a box in the boot. Many owners got so fed up with the
rattling covers that they removed them and painted the wheels silver - which
is exactly what I have done. Hope this helps
